ABOUT US

North American Maple Culture Center (NAMCC) was founded in Connecticut in 2015 as a 501C(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promote Chinese American immigration history through a variety of art formats and build the culture bridge between Chinese-Americans and all Americans.

North American Maple Culture Center has created a series of projects with the goal to research and promote Chinese American Immigration history. Tremendous research has been done; many scholars have been invited to participate. Nearly a hundred children learned the history and drew the historic scenes and figures. NAMCC plans to hold exhibitions and public books to introduce the 100 year of Chinese American Immigration history to the general public.

Maple Drama Association is a subsidiary of North American Maple Culture Center. Since it was founded, 96 shows of seven NAMCC original dramas for audiences of more than 60,000 have been performed, including the Off-Broadway show “Flying Tigers Flying Away” performed at the York Theater. The bilingual performances have attracted audiences from different ethnic groups, including local senators and congress members. The performances have been referred to by the media as a major cultural event in the history of Chinese Americans.
